Special Kayla-Mommy Day

Kayla and I went to the aquarium downtown one Monday morning, to have a "Special Kayla-Mommy Day".  We even had our own anthem for the day.  It was neat to see Kayla take the time to stop, observe, think, and ask questions.  Mostly about where each fishy's mommy was.

Looking at the fish.  My kids have been watching these same fish for the past five years. *Tear*

Kayla was such a brave girl to pet this snake.

She had NOTHING to do with this alligator, though.  Smart girl!!
 Kayla and the bald eagle.

This was a fun exhibit, log-istically speaking.  Hahahahahaha.
Watching the scuba divers clean the 2 story fish tank.
This sea turtle was hanging out on the rocks right by the window.  I hadn't seen him this close-up before, so that was pretty cool.

 Playing on the boat.
 Checking out the pelicans.
Kayla liked the stingrays that kept coming up to her to say hi.

In the lemur exhibit.
Dolphin watching in the Charleston Harbor.
 Our buddy, the frog.

Checking out the 4-D "Polar Express" movie.
"Special Kayla-Mommy Day" song as we leave the aquarium.  Time for this girl's nap!
