A Pirate's Treas-uuuuurrrrrr

Avery's Christmas present from Uncle Jon Jon and Aunt Luz was a pirate's map.  Complete with...you guessed it....a buried pirate's treasure!!  Watch the video below to see how much fun we had looking for Avery's treasure!

Merry Christmas!

The kids were awesome on Christmas morning, sleeping in until almost 7:30am (thanks to the lack of sun in Cleveland, the mornings stay dark a lot longer than where we live, so the kids sleep in later).  When they came downstairs and saw all of the presents under the tree and spread around the room, Avery exclaimed, "There must be 6500!!".  Not quite, but the kids did score quite a haul from, err, Santa.  After opening the presents, we enjoyed our traditional family brunch, complete with the homemade cinnamon rolls.  Of course, no naps were to be had on this day...there were way too many new toys to play with.  Later in the afternoon, Great Grandma Speck, Uncle Norm, Aunt Nancy, and Grandma and Grandpa Felici came over for dinner.  It was a fantastic day!

Christmas Eve Up in the 2-1-6

Here are some pictures taken after the children's mass on Christmas Eve.  At the end of the night, Maw Maw helped the kids leave out milk and cookies for Santa, as well as some carrots for the reindeer.
