Before we left for Cleveland, we enjoyed a horse carriage ride through downtown Charleston, guided by the one and only SANTA CLAUS! Before the ride, the kids took writing letters to Santa VERY seriously. The weather was perfect that night, as it was brisk enough to remind you that it was almost Christmas time, but still warm enough that you didn't freeze your buns off on the carriage. Avery was the most animated person on the carriage ride (this includes the adults) and Santa enjoyed talking to Avery quite a bit. After the ride, we all enjoyed roasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate before the long car ride home. Enjoy the last picture, which is of us in stand-still traffic on the way home, with a toddler taking advantage of the portable potty seat I keep in the car. It's always interesting when you hang out with the Jean Team. :)
