Avery's Pirate Party

 Avery enjoyed a pirate-themed party at the Children's Museum in downtown Charleston this year.  We had the museum to ourselves before it opened on Sunday.  Avery had a blast playing with his friends and some of his classmates on the big pirate ship and in all of the fun activity rooms.  The kids enjoyed decorating swords, eating snacks and cake, dressing in their bandanas, parading through the museum with instruments, and going on a scavenger hunt to find hidden pirate treasure (not as awesome as Uncle Jon Jon's hidden pirate treasure with REAL gold at Christmas time, though!).  It was a fantastic party!!
