A trip to the beach is even more enjoyable when it is technically fall. This is the time of year I enjoy South Carolina.
Kayla is such a little ham. She is constantly making up little stories and is forever singing songs about the most mundane thing (i.e. washing her hair). I hope she continues her love of drama into her school years and gets to star in a school play or musical one day.
Did I mention that I love the early fall season down here? It is the equivalent of summertime in the north. We come out of our summer hibernation from the intense heat and humidity and enjoy the beautiful outdoors!
We took a trip to the Children's Museum one rainy Saturday morning when Daddy was out of town. The kids never tire of playing on the pirate ship.
Avery is enjoying his kindergarten year. He must use his brain all day because he is pretty tired by dinner time.
We enjoyed a visit from PawPaw this fall.

Avery is the last member of the Jean Family to tolerate the dog. They are good buddies.
You never know what you are going to find when you check on Kayla after she falls asleep. This particular night, she was sleeping on top of several books and had almost every stuffed animal piled into her little bed.
The kids enjoyed playing on firetrucks and spraying a fire hose at a fundraiser for our local firefighters. Avery asked for a fire hose for Christmas. Ummmm.....
This is Kayla, wearing her Indian hat and sunglasses, ready to head to school. I had to gently break it to her that she was breaking the uniform code.

We took the kids to Disney on Ice, which had a pirate theme to it. I think Phil and I watched Kayla's reactions and dancing more than the actual ice show. Avery was too cool for this show and seemed bored. My baby boy's growing up. :(
Avery lost his second tooth!!! My heart...hurts.... :)
