This was the first year that Avery and Kayla were at separate schools. Because Avery attends a Christian school, he didn't get a Halloween party (seriously?? I distinctly remember Halloween parties every year in Catholic school!!). So, this was the first year that I could sit and relax and enjoy myself at ONE party, as opposed to running between two different classrooms. Kayla enjoyed showing her friends her mermaid costume.
