My child is very theatrical. She sings all the time, loves to make up songs and sing them to herself, and she is so animated when she talks to you. Enjoy these videos.

A Trip to Myrtle Beach
We were supposed to take a trip to Myrtle Beach one weekend with David and his family. "Unfortunately", Mommy was very sick (true story) and Phil offered to take the kids himself so I could stay home and rest. Even though I spent one full day on the couch (and the next one lying around on the beach), it was the most amazing weekend ever! Hats off to the guys for managing four kids by themselves (with the help of Cousin Jon, of course). The kids had a total blast playing with their cousins in the water park and on the beach.
Horsin' Around in 2014
We took a trip to John's Island at the end of May to visit the Stono Riding Academy. Avery and Athena came here on Avery's 4th birthday in 2013. This time around, Kayla was old/big enough to ride as well. Avery jumped right in and was comfortable grooming and riding his horse, Wyatt. He did a great job learning to steer the horse with the reins, trot, and post. David, the owner of the stables, was impressed with how quickly Avery picked up the posting. We told him that Avery has great rhythm, as well as Kentucky in his blood. Kayla needed some warming up to her (elderly) horse, Honey. She was mad at the end, stating she wanted to ride the "fast horse". Poor Honey. :)
